Synopsis
Billy Peltzer (Zach Galligan) receives a strange present from his inventor father – a furry creature called a Mogwai.
The cute and cuddly Mogwai comes with strict care instructions: avoid bright light, never get it wet, and most importantly, never feed it after midnight.
Of course, these rules are inadvertently broken, unleashing a horde of mischievous and destructive gremlins who wreak havoc on Billy’s small town on Christmas Eve.
Billy, along with his newfound friend Kate (Phoebe Cates), must find a way to stop the gremlins before they destroy everything in sight.
